The Apple iPad has debuted and the buzz about this fascinating machine is starting to become conversation everywhere you go. This new tablet pc from Apple has the ability to use all of the iPhone and iPod Touch applications at either regular size, like you would see on the aforementioned products, or at full screen to maximize the 9.7 inch screen. It also has a built in keyboard for typing, although, you will have to set it down on something to get the full use of this keyboard, or you will be pecking away with one finger while the other hand holds the iPad.
This Apple iPad is sporting a 1GHz processor that allows you to do all those things that a netbook would be able to do but with a few minor limitations. For one, it doesn’t actually have a full keyboard, although there is a touch screen keyboard that is available. You can also use this as an excellent eBook reader. Apple is in the process of creating an iBook store application to use specifically with the iPad. You will be able to get all those wonderful books you like to read and store them on your iPad. This enables you can take them with you and read them wherever you go.
Although the iPad doesn’t have any specific applications made for it, they are under development and it won’t be very long before they start being made available to all those lucky iPad owners. They are also developing a charging stand with a built in keyboard so you don’t have to use the awkward touch screen keyboard. This will come in handy for those who would use the iPad while travelling on business or vacation. With such progress and application development on the way, the iPad should be the best tablet pc on the market by the end of the year.
Once your Apple iPad has all the bells and whistles that are soon to be released, it is easy to see that they are really trying to give the consumers a reason to go with Apple and not the other tablets that are about to be released to the public. While having their unveiling first allows other companies to sit back and see where the iPad may be failing, Apple has assured that the iPad will be the best technology for the price for years to come.
